Global Bridge Cambridge
Global Bridge Cambridge is the largest immersive telepresence venue dedicated to education in the world. Our facility features two video recording studios where we can help you produce the videos you need. Whether you prefer to improvise or use a teleprompter, the studio and the team are ready for as many takes as required.

What kind of events or sessions are hosted in the Global Bridge?
The Global Bridge is very flexible for hosting different types of events such as webinars, open houses for prospective participants, internal team presentations, demos for B2B opportunities, and social events like book launches. Due to this flexibility, your imagination is the only limit. The Global Bridge has space for on-site guests and catering and has working areas. The same building also features 2 video recording studios.
How should I prepare for using the Global Bridge?
A good session is not necessarily one that features many audiovisual elements. The most important element is how you integrate your content with the audience, so preparing the flow for the session is the first step. It can be as simple as: introduction, activity to ask participants where they are connecting from, masterclass, poll, closing remarks, and Q&A.
You can bring your own slide deck, or we can help with that. The more information you provide about your expectations, the more ideas we can incorporate. Slides are a great way for our team to come up with 3D object suggestions.
Remember that the Global Bridge team will create any audiovisual elements for you.
Is there a dress code I should follow?
It is important that you feel comfortable with what you are wearing. Avoid wearing green or any patterns for your session.
What are the recommendations for virtual sets, slide decks, and 3D objects?
For a slide deck, it is important to use a design that is easy to read. This means it should have less text, good color contrast, and bigger fonts (larger than 18 pts). If you provide the slides at least a week in advance, we can make sure it is suitable for the Global Bridge.
If you need a customized virtual set, let us know well in advance as, depending on the complexity, this can take about a month to create. However, we have a library of existing sets that can be adapted with different colors and logos.
As with the virtual sets, 3D elements take time to make if we create them from scratch, about one week per object. We also have a library of virtual elements, and there are thousands available online.
